2013 Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Parade Sunday, May 19, 2013 – Step-off at 10:30 a.m.
PARADE STAGING AREA To get to the Parade STAGING/CHECK-IN AREA for the Long Beach Pride Parade, go South on Redondo Avenue to Ocean Blvd, turn RIGHT, and someone will be there to assist you. ARRIVAL TIMES FLOATS AND OTHER LARGE VEHICLES – 7:00 A.M. PRIMARY VEHICLES – 8:00 A.M. MARCHING UNITS – 9:00 A.M. Kickoff at Parade Central Early arrivers who show their pride could receive FREE ADMISSION to the 30th Annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride Festival, exclusive Long Beach Pride merchandise and more! The parade hot spot kicks off an hour early at 9:30 a.m. At Bixby Park, located on Ocean Blvd at Cherry Avenue. The location provides plenty of shade and a community gathering spot for anyone watching the parade. 9:30 a.m. The “RAINBOW RUN” Awards Sponsored by the FrontRunners of Long Beach 10:00 a.m. Full of FUN and SURPRISES the Pre-Parade Show Starring Hamburger Mary’s own BRUNCHETTES, Hosted by JEWELS – 10:15 a.m. (until Parade arrival) The Festival Join us for the 30th annual Long Beach Lesbian & Gay Pride celebration on May 18 & 19, 2013 from 11am – 11pm along Shoreline Drive. Over the past several years, the Long Beach Lesbian and Gay Pride Celebration has become one of the premiere Pride events nationwide now attracting over 80,000 participants over two days. The Festival Celebration includes seven large dance areas including a main stage which has featured musical artists such as Grammy Award Winner Jennifer Hudson, Queen Latifah, Maya, India.Arie., and Village People. Parking “Handicap Access” Access Drop Off & Pick up: 400 E. Seaside Way . Access Sign will be at drop off and pick-up. This is the Open Lot at the End of E. Seaside Way.
