Formula Drift Shoreline Showdown 2025: Where Long Beach Streets Turn Into a Drift Playground 🏎️
Strap in, car fans—Long Beach is about to transform its streets into a high-octane drift playground. On October 17–18, the city hosts the Formula Drift Shoreline Showdown, the 2025 finale of the series, on a brand new, one-of-a-kind street layout.
This isn’t your average motorsport event. Formula Drift is all about style, control, and calculated chaos—where drivers intentionally oversteer to “make them slip and slide” across the track, threading the needle between spectacular flair and absolute precision.
What Makes This Showdown Unmissable
A Fresh Course, A Fresh Challenge
This edition introduces a never-before-seen street layout in Long Beach—expect tight corners, tricky transitions, and aggressive clipping zones. The drivers will have to bring their A-game. Visit Long Beach
Drifting: Not Just Speed, But Style
Unlike traditional races, the victor here isn’t the one who crosses the line first. Instead, it’s a hybrid of line, angle, and style. That means how closely they hit drift zones, how dramatically (but cleanly) they swing the car, and how fluid their run looks under pressure. Judges score accordingly. Visit Long Beach
Two Days of Heart-Pounding Action
Day 1: Solo qualifying runs where drivers aim to land in the Top 32
Day 2: Head-to-head battles in tandem runs, where skill and nerve collide in real time
