George’s Greek Cafe on Second has served home-style Greek food in Belmont Shore since 2006. It’s family-run, and most dishes still come from the founders’ own recipes, like lamb chops, flaming saganaki, kleftiko and house-made dips with warm pita. There’s a full bar with a focus on wine and Greek beer, a relaxed atmosphere, and a daily happy hour from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., which makes it an easy stop before a night out on 2nd Street.
